He restores my Soul: He leads me in the path of Righteousness for His Name’s sake – Psalms 23:3

When God leads, He restores all that is lost, beginning from the restoration of the soul. Nothing is lost as long as the soul is saved, and everything is lost as long as the soul is lost. We see the value God places on the soul of man by the statement of Christ in Mark 8:36, “For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own Soul?”

Little wonder, the Devil’s central point of attack is the soul of man. The Psalmist expressed the joy of a restored soul, knowing fully well that every other restoration is tied to the restoration of the Soul. A man is first rich before God if he is rich in his soul, and poor before God if he is poor in His soul (Luke 12:16-21). The wealth of the soul is in its reconciliation and fellowship with God. Have you lost touch with God? Do you think you have come to the end of the road? There is hope in returning to the Father for total restoration. Let the cry of David be your cry today; “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free Spirit” – Psalms 51:12.

PRAYER: FATHER, thank You for Your provision of restoration. I ask that You’ll restore my fellowship with You, and all I have lost in life today. Stretch forth Your Hand of mercy and restore every backslider and lost souls back to Yourself in Jesus Name!
